Tip of the Spear: Darkest Dungeon

As I venture deeper into the unknown territories, I find myself facing unexpected challenges. The latest obstacle to arise is a crippled statue that shoots lightning bolts, forcing me to reassess my approach. Despite the uncertainty, I've grown more confident in navigating uncharted areas, thanks to my recent experiences.

Reflecting on my journey thus far, I recall trying to find a shortcut to the Undead Burg from the Blacksmith. However, it's not until now that I realize there might be a lifeline beyond trial and error – a sense of progression that can provide a slight edge in overcoming future challenges.

The notion of farming for currency and experience has been absent from many 'Git Gud' conversations, but I believe it's essential to acknowledge its significance. Of course, there are limitations to farming, both practical and otherwise, and respecting boss mechanics is crucial.

For now, my trusty base sword remains my go-to weapon, as I await finding a Dexterity-based alternative. Leveling up this sword to +5 through soul farming has given me a renewed sense of purpose, and I'm excited to see how it will impact my future battles.

This newfound awareness that farming is possible has lifted a mental block for me, allowing me to approach challenges with greater clarity and confidence. As I continue on my journey, I look forward to discovering new ways to harness the power of farming and progressing further in Darkest Dungeon.
